Return Policy

Tophill offers a 3-year warranty on its watches, please buy with confidence.

Your warranty is valid for policy use only. Damage not caused by the quality of the product itself and belonging to one of the following conditions cannot be warranted.

1. Exceeding the warranty period.
2. Human damage, accidental impact or fall, etc..
3. Wear and tear, scratches, discolouration of external parts during normal use.
4. Damage caused by maintenance, disassembly or modification of the watch without the authorisation of the brand.
5. Quartz watch battery depletion.
6. Damage caused by exterme environmental use, extremely high/low temperatures.
7. Diving watch not drained of helium in accordance with the operating instructions resulting in the bursting of the crystal.
8. Continuous use of mechanical watches under high-frequency vibraion environment (e.g. electric drill operation).

Water Resistance

Watches rated for standard water resistance (30–50 meters) are designed to withstand only splashes and rain under conditions of minimal water pressure. Please refrain from swimming or diving while wearing such a watch, as increased water pressure may cause water to penetrate the timepiece. Furthermore, water-resistant watches should not be exposed to warm water, used in bathrooms, or subjected to environments with rapid temperature fluctuations; doing so accelerates the aging of the watch's sealing materials and compromises its water-resistant performance. If condensation or water vapor appears beneath the watch crystal, it indicates that water has already entered the watch. In such cases, please find a watch repair center immediately to undergo a water-resistance test and replace the necessary sealing components to prevent water damage to the movement.

Shock Resistance

A watch is a precision instrument. While the minor vibrations encountered in daily life will not affect the normal operation of the movement, vigorous physical activity or severe impacts may exceed the movement's tolerance limits and result in damage to the watch. Therefore, it is advisable to remove your watch during strenuous physical activities; additionally, you should generally avoid subjecting the watch to severe shocks or impacts.

Anti-Magnetism

Watches should not be brought into contact with, or placed in close proximity to strong magnetic fields. If the watch is worn near objects generating strong magnetic fields, such as generators or electric motors, or if it is inadvertently placed near radios, televisions, audio systems, or other magnetic sources, it may become magnetized. Once magnetized, the watch's timekeeping accuracy will be compromised, and in some cases, the watch may even stop running entirely. Should this occur, the watch must undergo immediate demagnetization treatment to restore it to normal working order.

Battery

Tophill watches typically utilize high-quality original batteries. Under normal usage conditions, these batteries have a lifespan of over two years, with some models offering a battery life exceeding five years. Since a certain amount of time elapses during the shipping and retail phases of newly purchased watches, we guarantee that the battery in any new Tophill watch will function normally for at least one year from the date of purchase. Some Tophill watch models feature a low-battery warning function. If the second hand begins to skip ticking only once every few seconds, it indicates that the battery power is nearly depleted and requires replacement as soon as possible. When the battery power is running low, please ensure it is replaced promptly with a suitable new battery to prevent potential damage to the watch movement caused by battery electrolyte leakage.

Temperature

The optimal operating temperature range for a watch is between 5°C and 35°C. Exposure to temperatures outside this range may temporarily affect the watch's timekeeping accuracy; however, once the watch returns to a normal temperature environment, its accuracy will be restored. Temperatures below -10°C or above 50°C can have a significant impact on the watch, potentially leading to timekeeping inaccuracies or even causing the watch to stop running. Temperatures exceeding 50°C may result in battery leakage or a shortened battery lifespan. Therefore, please avoid using the watch for extended periods in environments with extremely low or high temperatures.

Storage

For mechanical watches that are being stored for a long period without being worn, they should be wound once a month to prevent the movement from remaining in a static state for too long, thereby ensuring the continued operational performance of the mechanism. For quartz watches being stored for a long period, the battery should be removed promptly to prevent power depletion and potential leakage that could damage the movement; alternatively, the crown can be pulled out to the first or second position (the position where the second hand stops moving) to conserve battery power.
